The Superficial TCA peel
The benefits of TCA are many, but among the most notable is the ability of adjust the depth to fit the skin problem. For minor epidermal improvement, 10% will be effective. However, if the problems are in the papillary dermis, a stronger solution and more application passes will be required.
Up to 25% TCA concentration has been shown to treat melanoma, uneven skin tone, acne and improvement of overall skin tone and texture.
It is important to keep in mind that when applying the peel, the skin preparation, pressure, and application time of the peel solution will have an effect on peel results. Also note that the strength of the solution is not as important as the number of coats applied. As more coats are applied, the peel will get deeper, as the solution goes looking for protein to neutralize itself.

Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA)
Trichloroacetic Acid, often referred to as TCA, is an effective chemical agent used to exfoliate and renew the skin on a superficial to medium level. TCA is most frequently applied to the face, neck, décolleté, and hands. In addition, TCA is also an excellent “spot treatment” and can be used to exclusively peel isolated areas of the skin.

A Multi-Tasking Peel For Potent Results
The range of depth achieved from a TCA Peel varies according to concentration potency, application methods and of course skin type. Upon application, the solution goes deep into the skin’s dermis actively seeking protein to neutralize itself. The time and pressure employed will also have a substantial effect on the TCA Peel’s permitted depth of skin penetration. For minor epidermal improvement, TCA 10% Light Peel will be effective. However, if skin concerns exist within the papillary dermis, a stronger solution will be required.
The Skin a Peel
Unlike progressive, medium grade peels, such as Glycolic or Salicylic, TCA Peels exfoliate the skin more rapidly upon initial contact. The long-lasting results make it an ideal peel for those who prefer less peeling sessions at the cost of moderate downtime. TCA’s dexterity for treating a wide range of skin conditions from wrinkles to even melanoma makes it the perfect chemical peel for individuals with multiple concerns. Due to Trichloroacetic Acid’s antibacterial properties, the TCA Peel is a particularly excellent choice for individuals suffering from chronic acne vulgaris. Fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, acne as well as an uneven skin tone can all serve to benefit from a TCA Peel.
Not All Peels are Created Equal! Darker skin types (particularly African American) should proceed with caution due to an increased risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

I found that to get the best result from the peel it is necessary to wait 2-3 weeks between the peels. There is an initial dryness and peeling that makes it a little hard to deal with but the end results are worth it |

It's really simple to use, anyone can do this at home instead of spending lots of money at the "professionals".But don't forget to prepare your skin before doing it.The only thing thant isn't great about it is that the week after doing it you're not to pretty, but after this everything is great, your skin is brighter, soother and softer. |

Love the Peel Product

S use this about once a month to keep my skin looking fresh, smooth and lessen the apprerance of large pores and fine lines. I apply for 2 minutes and now that I am used to it I experience very little peeling or flakeyness.
I am very happy with the product. Though I would caution to test the time you leave it on your skin because it is intense and when I first used it I experienced alot of peeling when only left on the skin for 45 seconds. |
