GLYCOLIC ACID CHEMICAL PEEL

  • Mildest types of facial peels
  • Very minimal to no downtime
  • Safe for all skin tones
  • Best for dry and normal skin types

Glycolic Acid, also known as Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), works on a cellular level to exfoliate the top layer of skin and is safe for all skin tones. Glycolic acid is water soluble and can not penetrate through the natural oils in the skin which makes it best suitable for dry, normal and combination skin types (not oily). Skin may feel tight or dry for a few days and may show slight visible flaking due to dry skin.

Glycolic acid peels improve dry skin, lighten age and dark spots, lessen fine lines and rejuvenate skin’s surface. Glycolic chemical peels may be applied in low level strengths (30% & 50%) as often as every 7-10 days or higher strength (70%) every 2-4 weeks, making this peel very adaptable to client's availability.
